The 2025-26 Kalamazoo College men's basketball team was awarded the Team Academic Excellence Award from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) on Wednesday, July 15.

This award recognizes outstanding academic achievement by a team with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

The team was one of over 400 men's basketball programs recognized across all levels of college basketball after posting a team GPA of 3.69 this past year, the highest of any Kalamazoo College men's team. This is the sixth straight season the Kalamazoo men's basketball team has earned this honor.

In addition, six players were selected to the NABC Honors Court for being juniors or seniors on the varsity team and maintaining a 3.2 cumulative GPA or higher. Carter Bandemer, Dougie Blackwood, Caleb Caul, Lucas Hanifan, Connor Kouki and Patrick Perez all received this honor.
