ALMA, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's basketball team lost, 97-73, at Alma College Saturday in the season finale.
Alma took a 43-33 lead into the locker room at halftime by shooting 50.0% from the field and 45.5% for three with a 16-14 advantage in rebounds in the first half. The Hornets shot 40.9% overall and 23.1% from deep in the opening 20 minutes.
The Scots stayed strong in the second half, finishing at 57.4% shooting overall and 50.0% for three. Kalamazoo ended the game shooting 42.9% from the field and 22.6% from beyond the arc.
Connor Kouki led the Hornets in scoring with 10 points, shooting 4-for-4 from the field. Patrick Perez added nine points and five rebounds.
Lucas Hanifan chipped in eight points, five rebounds and three assists.
Kalamazoo men's basketball finished the season 3-22 overall and 0-14 in MIAA play.
