Kalamazoo College midfielder Kennedy Hynde was named MIAA Women's Lacrosse Specialist of the Week Monday.
A junior from North Muskegon, Mich. (Reeths-Puffer), Hynde earned 10 draw controls, eight ground balls and two goals in two games last week for the Hornets.
Hynde helped Kalamazoo to an 11-7 win over Ohio Northern with five ground balls, four draw controls, the game-winning goal and one caused turnover. Then, at Oberlin, she picked up six draw controls, three ground balls and one goal.
This is the second consecutive week earning an MIAA honor for Hynde after being named MIAA Defensive Player of the Week on Feb. 23.
