OBERLIN, Ohio – The Kalamazoo College women's lacrosse team lost at Oberlin University Saturday, 16-5.
Oberlin earned a 5-0 advantage after the first quarter. The Hornets chipped away at the deficit in the second, going into halftime down 7-3.
A strong third quarter for the Yeowomen made it 12-4 heading to the fourth, and Oberlin finished strong for the win.
Tessa Fuller led Kalamazoo with three goals. Kennedy Hynde earned six draw controls, adding one goal and three ground balls.
Abbie Caza scored one goal with three ground balls. In goal, Kaitlyn Grice made six saves in defeat.
Kalamazoo women's lacrosse plays at NAIA foe Lawrence Tech Wednesday at 5 p.m.
