Caleb Moore was selected as the SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) Men's Hornet of the Week on Tuesday.

A junior from Pinckney, Mich. (Charyl Stockwell), Moore had multiple hits and RBIs in all four games for Kalamazoo baseball this past weekend to help the Hornets start the season 4-0.

Across three wins at Caltech and one at #19 Pomona-Pitzer, Moore totaled 10 hits, four doubles, 13 RBI and eight runs. He also went 2-for-2 on stolen base attempts, helping Kalamazoo tie its school record with 12 stolen bases as a team in the season opener.

Kalamazoo baseball returns to action this weekend in Berea, Ky. with games against Wittenberg, Carroll and Berea.
