Sophia Moir was selected as the SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) Women's Hornet of the Week on Tuesday.

A sophomore guard from Brighton, Mich. (Brighton), Moir scored 29 points with six rebounds and four steals in two games for Kalamazoo women's basketball last week. After scoring eight points with three rebounds at Hope on Wednesday, Moir scored a career-high 21 points with three rebounds and three steals in a win at Alma Saturday.

Moir is now averaging 5.1 points and 2.8 rebounds per game on the season.

Kalamazoo women's basketball hosts #21 Trine Wednesday at 7 p.m. to continue MIAA action.
