Taylor Dinda was selected as the SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) Women's Hornet of the Week on Tuesday.
A junior guard from Lake Orion, Mich. (Lake Orion), Dinda scored in double-digits in back-to-back games last week for the first time in her collegiate career, totaling 24 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two steals on the week.
After tying a career-high with four three-pointers made on Wednesday at Calvin, Dinda helped Kalamazoo women's basketball earn a comeback victory over Olivet on Saturday with 12 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Dinda, an MIAA Honor Roll member last season, leads the Hornets in three-point shots made (17) and free-throw percentage (80.0%, min. 10 attempts) on the season. She's averaging 5.4 points and 3.2 rebounds per game this year.
