Lucas Hanifan was selected as the SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) Men's Hornet of the Week on Tuesday.

A senior guard from Chelsea, Mich. (Chelsea), Hanifan scored 28 points with six rebounds, five assists and four steals in two games last week for Kalamazoo men's basketball. After a nine-point, three-steal performance against Hope on Wednesday, Hanifan led the Hornet offense with 19 points and four assists against Alma Saturday.

Hanifan is now averaging a team-high 11.9 points and 3.8 rebounds per game this season.

Kalamazoo men's basketball travels to Trine Wednesday at 7 p.m. to continue MIAA action.
