The 2024-25 Kalamazoo College men's basketball team was awarded the Team Academic Excellence Award from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) on Thursday, July 17^th.

This award recognizes outstanding academic achievement by a team with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

The team was one of 400 men's basketball programs recognized across all levels of college basketball after posting a team GPA of 3.44 this past year. This is the fifth straight season the Kalamazoo men's basketball team has earned this honor.

In addition, seven players were selected to the NABC Honors Court for being juniors or seniors on the varsity team, maintaining a 3.2 cumulative GPA or higher. Carter Bandemer, Dougie Blackwood, Lukas Broadsword, Caleb Caul, DJ Courtney, Lucas Hanifan, and Jack Wheeler all received this honor.
