Lukas Broadsword was selected as the SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) Men's Hornet of the Week on Tuesday, Feb. 18^th, for events through Sunday, Feb. 16^th.

A senior from Boise, Idaho (Centennial), Broadsword averaged 10.5 points and 8.5 rebounds over the Hornets' last two games.

On Wednesday, Feb. 12^th, he led Kalamazoo on the boards hauling in a team-high of 12 rebounds along with nine points, and four assists.

In the matchup against Calvin (Feb. 15^th), Broadsword scored 12 points and five rebounds, while achieving a major career milestone, surpassing 1,000 career points.

Broadsword in now the seventh player in Kalamazoo College history to record 1,000 points and haul in more than 500 rebounds, currently sitting at 1,0005 points and 605 rebounds.

The Hornets return to Anderson Athletic Center on Wednesday, Feb. 19^th for their home finale against Trine University at 7 p.m.
