Kalamazoo College senior outfielder Brenna Fisher has been named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region VII Third Team, as announced Friday.
Fisher, from Colon, Mich. (Colon HS), is the second player in program history to earn NFCA All-Region recognition. She joins Lucy Hart, who was named to the Third Team in 2023.
Fisher led the Hornets with a .430 batting average this season, recording 52 hits in 121 at-bats. She also walked 12 times and stole 32 bases in 34 attempts, ranking among the national leaders in total stolen bases and steals per game.
She broke the program's single-game and single-season records for runs scored (5 and 3, respectively), and tied school records for hits in a season (52) and stolen bases in a season (32). She also matched the single-game record for stolen bases three times with three steals in a game.
Fisher was named to the All-MIAA Second Team earlier this spring. With her in the leadoff spot, Kalamazoo tied the school record for wins in a season, finishing 21-15 overall and tying for third in the MIAA with a 9-7 conference record.
