Ben Battreall was selected as the SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) Men's Hornet of the Week on Wednesday.

A junior from Rockford, Mich. (Rockford), Battreall scored two goals last week to help Kalamazoo men's soccer go 1-0-1 and clinch a spot in the MIAA Tournament. First, he scored the second goal for the Hornets in a 2-2 tie at Olivet on Tuesday, before scoring the lone goal in a 1-0 victory at Trine on Saturday.

The goals were the first two of the season for Battreall after notching four in 2024.

Kalamazoo men's soccer finishes the regular season hosting Albion Wednesday at 7 p.m. at MacKenzie Field. It will be the Hornets' Most Valuable Professors Game, with each senior honoring a member of the Kalamazoo College faculty.
