ADRIAN, Mich. – The Kalamazoo College men's soccer team lost, 2-1, at Adrian Saturday in the MIAA Tournament.
Adrian scored the only goal of the first half in the 17th minute. The Bulldogs tacked on another goal in the 51st minute.
Henry Plumstead cashed in a penalty kick in the 69th minute to bring Kalamazoo back within one goal, but the Hornets were unable to net the equalizer.
Kalamazoo outshot Adrian, 12-6, with a 7-2 advantage in shots on goal. The Hornets also topped the Bulldogs in corner kicks, 7-3.
With the loss, Kalamazoo finishes the season 4-9-4, while Adrian advances to face Hope in the MIAA Semifinals on Wednesday.
