The Kalamazoo College men's soccer team will travel to Adrian for the first round of the MIAA Tournament on Saturday (Nov. 1) at 3:00 p.m. at MacKenzie Field. The Hornets earned the No. 5 seed with a 2-2-3 record in conference play, along with a 4-8-4 overall record, while the Bulldogs went 3-3-1 in MIAA action and 5-12-1 overall to take the No. 4 seed.

The Hornets were led this season on offense by junior Lucas Ruiz, with five goals, and senior Henry Plumstead, with four goals. The defense was anchored by sophomore Simon Sawyer and freshman Elijah Vue, who had five assists, in front of freshman goalkeeper Jackson Janderwski, with a 4-8-3 record, four shutouts, a 1.70 goals-against average and .750 save percentage.
Kalamazoo and Adrian played to a 2-2 tie on Oct. 11 this season, with Evan Pollens-Voigt and Plumstead scoring for the Hornets.
The winner of Saturday's contest will advance to play at regular season MIAA Champion Hope on Wednesday (Nov. 5), with game time TBA.
