KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's lacrosse team lost 20-10 to Albion College Saturday at MacKenzie Field.

Kalamazoo led 3-1 early, but trailed 4-3 at the end of the first quarter. Albion led 10-5 at halftime.

Albion outshot Kalamazoo 40-25 overall, including 31-20 on goal.

Hannah Heeren and Rose Bogard each scored five goals for the Hornets.

Heeren also had eight draw controls, four ground balls and three caused turnovers.

Bogard had nine draw controls, three ground balls and two caused turnovers.

Kalamazoo returns to action Wednesday, April 27 at Alma.
