KALAMAZOO, MI - The Kalamazoo College women's lacrosse team beat Trine University 12-2 on Tuesday night. The team is now 4-3 overall this season.

The Hornets were propelled by a big offensive first half, in which they outscored the Thunder 8-2. Kalamazoo then blanked the Thunder in the second half while adding another four goals.

Anika Sproull and Alivia DuQuet led the offensive attack for the Hornets with four goals each. Vethania Stavropoulos added two goals while Anna Dairaghi and Nicole Huff had a goal each. Katie Johnson was stellar in goal once again, only allowing two goals and making nine saves.

The Hornets next game is Saturday, April 11 at Hope.
