KALAMAZOO, MI - The Kalamazoo College women's lacrosse team defeated Adrian 16-11 on Wednesday night. The team moves to 3-2 overall this season.

The Hornets came out strong in the first half and outscored the Bulldogs 10-4. It was a different story in the second half where the Hornets were outscored 7-6

Nicole Huff led all scorers with four goals, while Vethania Stavropoulos, Anna Dairaghi, Anika Sproull, and Alivia DuQuet had three goals each.

Katie Johnson was fantastic in goal and had 11 saves. Her defense was how Kalamazoo was able to hold on for the win.

The Hornets play again Friday, April 3 against Thiel at Augustana.
