Jess Forbis was selected as the SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) Women's Hornet of the Week on Tuesday.

A junior goaltender from West Bloomfield Township, Mich. (International Academy), Forbis earned her third consecutive shutout last Wednesday against NAIA Goshen College. She made one save as Kalamazoo College women's soccer won, 2-0.

With the recent hot stretch, Forbis has lowered her season goals against average to 1.50 and raised her save percentage to .676. She owns a 5-2-1 record with four shutouts on the year.

Kalamazoo women's soccer opens MIAA play against The University of Olivet on Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. at MacKenzie Field.
