Anna Courtney was selected as the SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) Women's Hornet of the Week on Tuesday.

A sophomore midfielder from Kalamazoo, Mich. (Loy Norrix), Courtney excelled to help Kalamazoo College women's soccer go 3-0 last week. She scored five goals, including all three game-winners, with one assist across the three matches.

First, Courtney scored a hat trick at Illinois College Wednesday, scoring the Hornets' first three goals in a 4-1 win. Next, she scored the opening goal in a 2-0 win over Wooster at home on Saturday before scoring a goal and an assist in a 4-0 win at Concordia Chicago on Sunday.

Courtney now leads Kalamazoo in goals (6), points (13) and game-winning goals (4) on the season.

Kalamazoo women's soccer takes the pitch at MacKenzie Field Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. against NAIA foe Goshen College.
