GRANVILLE, Ohio – The Kalamazoo College women's soccer team lost, 6-0, at Denison University Sunday.
Denison took control in the first half, with goals in the 10th, 23rd, and 31st minutes. The Big Red scored two more goals in the first five minutes of the second half before finishing the scoring with a goal in the 80th minute.
The Big Red outshot Kalamazoo, 22-6 overall and 12-5 in shots on goal, and had four corner kicks to zero for the Hornets.
Jess Forbis made six saves in goal for Kalamazoo. Ruby Hogan led the Hornets' offensive effort with three shots, including two on goal.
Kalamazoo travels to Jacksonville, Ill. to take on Illinois College Wednesday at 10 a.m. (9 CT).
