The Kalamazoo College baseball team remains ranked by both the D3baseball.com poll and the American Baseball Coaches Association Top 25 (both #22) heading into the MIAA Tournament.
Kalamazoo is currently 30-9 on the season, with a 14-7 record in conference play. The Hornets are one win away from the program's most ever in a single season (31) and tied Alma College for second place in the MIAA this season.
This is the ninth consecutive week that Kalamazoo has been ranked in the D3baseball.com poll, the most times in one season that the Hornets have been ranked in school history.
Kalamazoo baseball begins the MIAA Tournament, Presented by Collegiate Credit Union, Wednesday at 4 p.m. against Alma. The winner will face the winner of the (1) Adrian vs. (4) Albion matchup in the winners' bracket, while the losers of both games will play an elimination game on Thursday.
