The 2025-26 Kalamazoo College softball seniors have selected their Most Valuable Professors to recognize this season.

The Hornets selected Dr. Regina Stevens-Truss and Sharon Colvin.

Emma Newlove selected Dr. Stevens-Truss from the Chemistry and Biochemistry Department as her MVP. Newlove honored Dr. Stevens-Truss because of the support she has shown Newlove throughout the rigorous courses at K College, and the selfless, encouraging approach she takes to her teaching.

Colvin, from the Psychology Department, was chosen by Jaycee Rider as her MVP. Rider picked Colvin because of her support, encouragement, and willingness to help her students however possible. Rider said she always looked forward to class with Professor Colvin, and they were able to build a strong relationship throughout her four years at K.
