ADRIAN, Mich. – The Kalamazoo College softball team split a doubleheader at Adrian on Tuesday, falling 9-1 in the first game before winning 11-5 in game two.
Game One – Adrian 9, Kalamazoo 1 (5 inn.)
Adrian led 4-0 after the third inning before Kalamazoo got a run on the board in the top of the fourth. The Bulldogs scored two more in the fourth and three in the bottom of the fifth to end the game.

Jaycee Rider and
Alyssa Hinkley each had a hit for the Hornets.
Maddie Potts drove in a run with a sacrifice fly.
Game Two – Kalamazoo 11, Adrian 5
Kalamazoo led 2-0 after the first inning and 5-1 after three. Adrian cut the deficit to 7-5 in the top of the fifth before Kalamazoo added four more runs in the bottom half.

Macy Ward,
Elizabeth Jones and
Kaitlyn Berkery each had two hits in the game. Fridsma, Rocco and Berkery each had a double.
Ward drove in three runs, while Rocco had two RBIs. Rabb and Fridsma each scored three times.
Elizabeth Jones picked up the win in game two with three strikeouts.
