HOLLAND, Mich. – The Kalamazoo College softball team dropped a pair of games at Hope College on Friday.
Game One (Hope 18, Kalamazoo 0 – 5 inn.)
Hope scored 11 runs in the first inning en route to an 18-0 win in five.
Nadene Hubbard,
Ella Neumann,
Grace Rocco and
Delaney Lee each had a hit for the Hornets.
Game Two (Hope 5, Kalamazoo 2)
Hope scored three runs in the first before
Grace Rocco's two-run home run in the second made it a 3-2 game. Hope added runs in the sixth and seventh to make it the 5-2 final.
Rocco doubled along with the home run.
Jaycee Rider,
Alyssa Hinkley and
Elizabeth Jones also had a hit in the game.
