Kennedy Hynde was selected as the SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) Women's Hornet of the Week on Tuesday.
A junior midfielder from North Muskegon, Mich. (Reeths-Puffer), Hynde totaled 17 draw controls, seven caused turnovers, four ground balls, three goals and one assist in two games for Kalamazoo women's lacrosse last week.
Hynde also earned MIAA Specialist of the Week honors for her performance, her third time picking up that award this season. She also earned Defensive Player of the Week from the conference once, as she has already reached career-highs in goals (13), ground balls (29), caused turnovers (15) and draw controls (80) this season.
