Kalamazoo College midfielder Kennedy Hynde was named MIAA Women's Lacrosse Specialist of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
A junior from North Muskegon, Mich. (Reeths-Puffer), Hynde totaled 17 draw controls, seven caused turnovers, four ground balls, three goals and one assist in two games for the Hornets last week.
Hynde tied her season-highs in goals (2) and points (3) on Wednesday against Adrian, adding seven draw controls and three caused turnovers. Then, in Saturday's victory over Alma, she tied for career-high marks in draw controls (10) and caused turnovers (4) with a goal.
The award is Hynde's third time winning MIAA Specialist of the Week this season (3/2/26, 3/23/26) along with a Defensive Player of the Week honor (2/23/26).
Kalamazoo women's lacrosse is back on the field Tuesday at 5 p.m. at Hope College in Holland, Mich.
