The Kalamazoo College baseball team once again was ranked in the top 15 by both the D3baseball.com poll (#11) and the American Baseball Coaches Association Top 25 (#15).
Kalamazoo is currently 29-7 on the season, with a 13-5 record in conference play.
The Hornets are one of the top teams in the country in a variety of categories, currently ranking in the top 10 in all of NCAA-III in batting average (#8, .349), hit by pitch (#10, 102), scoring (#9, 10.8 runs per game), stolen bases per game (#6, 3.44), strikeout-to-walk ratio (#5, 2.93), strikeouts per nine innings (#8, 9.3), and winning percentage (#8, .806).
Kalamazoo baseball enters its final series of the regular season this weekend against The University of Olivet. Game one will be Friday at 4 p.m. in Olivet, Mich., followed by a doubleheader Saturday at 1 p.m. at Woodworth Field for the Hornets' Senior Day and Compete for a Cause Game.
