Ruby Hogan Earns Second-Team All-MIAA

Kalamazoo College's Ruby Hogan received Second-Team All-MIAA honors, as announced by the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association on Thursday, Feb. 28th.

Hogan, a sophomore from Cedar, Mich. (Glen Lake), led the Hornets this season in all but three statistical categories, emerging as the team leader in points, field goals, free throws, assists, steals, and minutes.

The sophomore logged 861 minutes (34.4 per game) this season for the Hornets while recording 401 points (16 per game). Hogan put up 141 field goals and 101 free throws, finishing with a .430 field-goal percentage and .759 free-throw percentage. She also dished out 111 assists, averaging 4.4 per game.

On the defensive end, Hogan recorded 49 steals (2 per game) on the season.

Following the 2024-25 season, Hogan ranks tied for third in program history for the single-game scoring record after a career high of 34 points against Alma to close out the season. She also climbed to fifth in single-season points and tied for fourth in single-season assists.

Hogan's standout season earned her MIAA Player of the Week twice (Nov. 25th & Feb. 24th).
