Kalamazoo College's Ruby Hogan was selected to the All-MIAA women's soccer First Team, and Elle Bernas was named to the Second Team, the MIAA announced Tuesday.
A junior midfielder from Cedar, Mich. (Glen Lake), Hogan started all 18 games, led the Hornets and was tied for second in MIAA play in goals (5), tied for first in shots during conference play (28) with the fourth-most shots on goal (13). She had nine total goals and four assists at the end of the regular season, then scored a hat trick in the Hornets' 4-0 win over Albion in the first round of the MIAA Tournament.
Bernas, a senior forward from Grosse Pointe, Mich. (Grosse Pointe North), also started all 18 games, finishing second on the team and tied for fifth in conference play in goals (4). She had one assist and two game-winning goals among her eight total scores in the regular season. She also earned a goal and an assist in the tournament victory over Albion.
This is Hogan's third All-MIAA honor after earning Second Team recognition in 2023 and 2024. It is Bernas' first time as an All-MIAA selection.
Kalamazoo finished the regular season 9-5-4 overall and 3-2-3 in MIAA play. The Hornets take on Calvin in the MIAA Semifinal Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Grand Rapids, Mich.
