ALMA - The Kalamazoo College softball team lost a pair of conference games at Alma College on Wednesday, 9-0 and 5-1.

After a scoreless two innings in the opener, Alma scored six runs in the third and three in the fourth. Alma had 11 hits in the game while limiting Kalamazoo (Madeline Sinkovich) to just one hit.

Alma led Kalamazoo 2-1 after three innings in the second game before scoring three runs in the fourth to take the 5-1 lead. The Scots had 10 hits in the game compared to six for Kalamazoo.

Emma Patrash was 3-for-3 in the game while Dana Page, Megan Malish, and Victoria Najacht each had a single.

Kalamazoo returns to action with a doubleheader at Saint Mary's on Thursday at 3:30 p.m.
