KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Kalamazoo College softball team dropped a pair of home games to Alma on Saturday, 11-0 and 7-2.
Game One – Alma 11, Kalamazoo 0 (5 inn.)
After a scoreless three innings, Alma scored two in the fourth and nine in the fifth to win 11-0. The Scots had nine hits in the game while holding Kalamazoo to two.
London Rabb and
Macy Ward each had a single for Kalamazoo.
Game Two – Alma 7, Kalamazoo 2
Kalamazoo scored the first run in the top of the third but Alma responded with four in the bottom half. Alma led 5-2 after five and added a pair of runs in the sixth. Alma had 11 hits in the game compared to five by Kalamazoo.
Landrie Fridsma had two doubles and two RBIs to lead Kalamazoo.
