Box Score 2 The softball team lost a pair of games to Saint Mary's at Western Michigan University's Ebert Field on Saturday, April 21.
Saint Mary's used a five-run second inning to take an 8-0 lead after three innings. Neither team scored over the final two innings as the Belles' closed out the win. Taylor Clements, Emma Patrash, Grace Mathieu and Calee Dieleman each had a hit for Kalamazoo.
In the second game, Saint Mary's scored multiple runs in three consecutive innings en route to a 15-0 win. The Hornets had six hits in the game and left seven runners on base. Querubin Dubois led the offensive effort by going 2-for-3.
The Hornets are scheduled to conclude the season with a home doubleheader against Trine on Wednesday, April 25 at 3:30 p.m. at Versluis Dickinson Park
