Makala Goddard was selected as the SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) Women's Hornet of the Week on Tuesday.

A junior setter from Martin, Mich. (Martin), Goddard collected 108 assists across three matches, averaging 10.8 assists per set, for Kalamazoo volleyball last week. She added 17 digs, nine kills and seven aces on the week.

Goddard notched new career-highs in assists (43) and kills (7) in the Hornets' season opener at Ohio Northern last Tuesday, then added a career-high in blocks (3) against Hiram on Saturday. She currently leads Kalamazoo in assists (108) and is tied for the team lead in service aces (7) on the season.

Kalamazoo volleyball plays at Manchester University Wednesday at 6 p.m. in North Manchester, Ind.
