Alex Fleming was selected as the SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) Men's Hornet of the Week on Tuesday.
A junior from Troy, Mich. (Roeper), Fleming went 3-0 in the MIAA Tournament Presented by Collegiate Credit Union to help Kalamazoo College men's tennis win the championship.
Fleming won 6-2, 6-2 at #2 singles over Hope in the championship after he and Cameron Crosby won 6-3 at #1 doubles. Fleming was also named First Team All-MIAA for the third time in his career this season.
Kalamazoo men's tennis heads to the NCAA Tournament as MIAA Champions. The Hornets will face Washington University (Mo.) at Denison University in Granville, Ohio on Saturday (May 9) with time TBA.
