Kalamazoo College earned two All-MIAA awards for men's lacrosse, the conference announced Tuesday. Jack Bungart took a spot on the First Team, and Max Plesscher was named Second Team All-MIAA.
Bungart, a senior defenseman / long stick midfielder from Bloomfield Hills, Mich. (Orchard Lake St. Mary's), broke the MIAA career caused turnovers record (conference games only), finishing with 67. This season, he led the MIAA in caused turnovers in conference play with 19, and was fourth in ground balls at 31.
A senior from Haslett, Mich. (Haslett), Plesscher led the Hornets and tied for ninth in the conference in goals during MIAA games with 12. His 16 total points was tied for 11th in the conference as well.
The All-MIAA honor was the fourth for Bungart, and his second time named First Team All-MIAA, the only player in program history to earn a first team honor. For Plesscher, it was the first All-MIAA award in his career.
Kalamazoo men's lacrosse finished the season 2-4 in MIAA play and 6-9 overall.
