Kalamazoo College defenseman Jack Bungart was named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association D-III Team of the Week Tuesday.
A senior from Bloomfield Hills, Mich. (Orchard Lake St. Mary's), Bungart had 14 ground balls, 10 caused turnovers and two assists in two games last week for the Hornets.
Bungart helped Kalamazoo men's lacrosse to a 2-0 week and was a key part of the defense holding opponents to just a 61% clearing percentage across the two games.
The MIAA also recognized Bungart's exceptional play this week, naming him Defensive Player of the Week on Monday. This is his second time earning a spot on the USILA D-III Team of the Week, having also earned the honor on March 5, 2025.
Kalamazoo men's lacrosse hosts Southwestern (TX) Friday at 6 p.m. at MacKenzie Field.
