Kalamazoo College's Jack Schneider was honored as All-Region in the 5,000m for the 2026 Indoor Season by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, announced on Wednesday.
A sophomore from St. Louis, Mo. (Webster Groves), Schneider earned the honor with an MIAA Championship-winning time of 14:58.93 in the 5,000m run, which was adjusted to 14:49.41 for track size for regional rankings. That time was good for sixth in the Great Lakes Region this season.
For the Hornets, the award is the first All-Region honor in men's track and field history and the first national honor since Craig Boyak was named Second Team All-American for Pole Vault in the 1974 outdoor season.
