The Kalamazoo College men's and women's cross country teams were both selected as U.S Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic Teams for the 2025 season on Jan. 29. This is the seventh consecutive season that both cross country programs have earned this honor.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, among other qualifiers. Kalamazoo's women's cross country team earned a 3.59 team GPA last term, while the men's program posted a 3.44 team GPA.
Additionally, three women's student-athletes were recognized as All-Academic Athletes for maintaining at least a 3.30 GPA and finishing within the top 25 percent at the Regional Championship meet. Ava King, Allison Mayer, and Nora O'Leary earned the honor, with King and O'Leary being repeat winners after being recognized in 2024 as well.
