Kalamazoo College's Ruby Hogan was selected to the MIAA women's basketball Second Team, announced by the MIAA Friday.
A junior guard from Cedar, Mich. (Glen Lake), Hogan played in 24 games, starting 23 for the Hornets. She led the conference in assists per game at 4.5, also leading Kalamazoo in scoring, finishing fourth in the MIAA at 13.5 points per game, while her 7.3 rebounds per game ranked second on the team and sixth in the conference, with her 1.7 steals per game placing fifth in the MIAA and leading the Hornets.
Hogan also became the first player in Kalamazoo College women's basketball history with 1,000 points, 500 rebounds and 300 assists, reaching the 1,000-point mark in the regular season finale against Alma.
The Hornets finished the season at 7-19 and 6-10 in MIAA play.
