Kalamazoo forward Lauren Vanderstelt earned a spot on the Basketball Coaches' Association of Michigan (BCAM) 2025-26 Academic-Athletic Honor Team.
A senior from Plainwell, Mich. (Plainwell), Vanderstelt led all of NCAA III in blocks with 109, a program single-season record, while her 4.19 blocks per game were also the most in the country. She played all 26 games for the Hornets, starting 25, and averaged 10.7 points and 10.7 rebounds per game. Her 277 rebounds were also a single season record for Kalamazoo women's basketball.
Vanderstelt also earned CSC Academic All-District recognition in both of her two seasons at Kalamazoo (2024-25, 25-26). She was a standout on the defensive end of the court throughout her time as a Hornet, setting the school record for career blocks with 179.
