HOLLAND, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's swimming and diving team finished third at the MIAA Championships Presented by Collegiate Credit Union Wednesday-Saturday, Feb. 18-21, at the Holland Aquatic Center.
Troy Richard was named the MIAA Men's Most Valuable Diver.
Trustin Christopher won the Men's Senior Impact award.
Saturday's Results
The 400 Free Relay finished fourth with a time of 3:16.53 (
Reed Dixon,
Teague Westra,
Zach Heikka,
Avery Jones).
Zach Heikka was seventh in the 200 Backstroke with a time of 1:55.74.
Friday's Results
Zander Ligman captured the MIAA championship in the 3-meter Diving event with a score of 535.45.
Troy Richard was second at 497.45.
Barrett Garrard finished eighth (329.55).
The 200 Medley Relay finished fourth with a time of 1:39.62 (
Zach Heikka,
Reed Dixon,
Trustin Christopher,
Noah Loizos).
Zach Heikka finished seventh in the 100 Backstroke with a time of 51.84.
Kalamazoo remains in third place following Friday's events.
Thursday's Results
Troy Richard won the MIAA championship in the 1-meter Diving event with a score of 486.70.
Zander Ligman was third (443.50).
Barrett Garrard finished eighth (324.85).
