Kalamazoo College's Zander Ligman qualified for the NCAA-DIII Diving National Championships, the NCAA announced Monday.
Ligman finished fifth in the 3-meter dive with a score of 473.60 at the Central Regional hosted by Kalamazoo College this past weekend, and placed ninth in the 1-meter event with a score of 411.20.
The 2026 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships will take place Wednesday, March 18 through Saturday, March 21 at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis, Ind.
The men's 3-meter diving event will be held on Wednesday, March 18 with trials at 10 a.m. and finals at 6 p.m. The 1-meter competition will be on Friday, March 20, also having trials at 10 a.m. and finals at 6 p.m.
Ligman is the first NCAA qualifier for Kalamazoo men's swimming and diving since 2018. Sam Ankley also earned All-American honors in 2021, but no national championships were held that year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
