Jillian Smith was selected as the SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) Women's Hornet of the Week on Tuesday.

A junior from Howell, Mich. (Howell), Smith earned co-medalist honors at the second MIAA Jamboree last Tuesday (Sept. 30) by shooting a one-over-par 73. Her score of 73 was a personal best and tied for the lowest round score in Hornets women's golf history.

Kalamazoo women's golf returns to action Saturday at the fourth and final MIAA Jamboree Saturday (Oct. 11) at Pine River Country Club, hosted by Alma.
