ALMA, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's golf team tied for second at the fourth MIAA Jamboree of the season hosted by Alma at Pine River on Saturday. Kalamazoo shot 313 overall, tied with Saint Mary's. Both teams trailed Trine in first place by just two strokes.

Kalamazoo's 313 is currently the second-lowest score in program history.

Jillian Smith tied for second overall with a 3-over 74.

Jacey Merkle tied for eighth with a 76, followed by Ellie Britt at 79 and Nadia Zerlaut at 84.

Kalamazoo is scheduled to wrap up the fall portion of the season when on Oct. 20 when the Hornets host an invitational at Stonehedge North in Augusta, Mich.
