Carson Deines was selected as the SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) Men's Hornet of the Week on Wednesday, Nov. 20^th, for events through Sunday, Nov. 17^th.

Deines, a senior from Grand Rapids, Mich (Forest Hills Central), recorded 12 tackles, including a team-high of six solo spots in the game against Trine on Saturday, Nov. 16^th.

On the season, Deines has accumulated 83 total tackles (38 solo), along with three tackles of loss and one sack.

Additionally, Dienes was named the MIAA Defensive Football Player of the Week on Monday, Nov. 18^th, as well as received All-MIAA Second Team honors.
