ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team competed at the ITA Central Regional Championship hosted by Washington University in St. Louis Sept. 23-25.

Kalamazoo Doubles Results

Hudson Mosher/Jacob Watson (DePauw) d. Adnan Alousi/Tieran Rafferty 8-2 in the Round of 64 on Friday.

After a bye in the Round of 64, (9) Gabe Vidinas and Peter Fitzgerald were defeated 8-4 by Colin Scruggs/Patricio Garcia Muriel Pasquel (WashU) in the Round of 32 on Friday.

Kalamazoo Singles Results

Peter Fitzgerald won his Round of 64 match 7-5, 6-4 over Clayton Maack (Millikin) on Friday. Fitzgerald then lost in three sets to (16) Thomas Kallarakal (Kenyon) 6-1, 2-6, 6-0.

Gabe Vidinas lost to (9) Jack Bulger (Denison) in the Round of 64 on Friday 6-0, 6-4. Vidinas won his first consolation draw match 6-1, 6-0 over Brett Gurzell (Albion). Vidinas was then defeated by (6) Ramon Vilarroig Martinez (North Central) 6-0, 6-1.

Adnan Alousi fell 6-3, 6-4 to Thomas Partirdge (DePauw) in the Round of 64 on Friday. Alousi won his first consolation draw match 6-0, 6-2 over Marcelo Aguilar (Ohio Wesleyan). Alousi then defeated Jay Fortner (Capital) 6-0, 6-0. In the consolation quarterfinals, Alousi defeated Grant Sarnowski (John Carroll) 6-2, 6-2. Alousi won his semifinal match 5-7, 6-2, 10-8 over Logan Langovsky (John Carroll). Alousi won the consolation finals by walkover.

Tieran Rafferty lost his opening match in the "Green" draw 6-0, 6-1 to Paulo Pocasangre (Kenyon). Rafferty advanced by walkover before falling to Cole Metzger (DePauw) 8-0 in the consolation semifinals.
