HOLLAND, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College baseball team lost 15-5 at Hope on Tuesday.

The Hornets allowed three runs in the first and trailed 5-2 after three. Kalamazoo made it 5-4 in the fifth, but gave up two in the bottom half to fall behind 7-4. After a run in the sixth made it a 7-5 game, Hope scored seven in the bottom half to put it out of reach.

Hope had 13 hits in the game compared to seven by Kalamazoo.

Blake Bean had two hits including a home run. Doug Propson also had two hits.

David Stechow had a triple, while Harrison Poeszat homered in the game.

Kalamazoo is scheduled to travel next to Alma for a single game on Friday, April 22 at 4 p.m.
