The Kalamazoo College baseball team received the Team Academic Excellence Award from the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) in 2025-26, announced Wednesday, July 22.

Teams that achieve a combined GPA of 3.0 or higher are eligible for the honor.

2025-26 marks the Hornets' seventh consecutive season earning this recognition for their academic achievements.

Kalamazoo baseball won a program-record 33 games this season, finishing with a 33-13 record overall and 14-7 in MIAA play. Kalamazoo earned its first ever at-large bid to the NCAA III Tournament and only the second in MIAA history.
