Box Score 2 KALAMAZOO - The Kalamazoo College baseball team lost both games of a doubleheader to Alma on Sunday, each by a score of 3-0.
Alma had eight hits in the game compared to three for Kalamazoo. The Hornets also walked three times and were hit by a pitch, but left all eight baserunners stranded.
Brett Thomas, K.J. Schultz, and Joey Aliotta each singled for Kalamazoo.
In the second game, Alma scored three runs in the third and another in the fourth. The Scots had 10 hits in the game compared to five for Kalamazoo.
Marc Zughaib, Eric Glanz, Brett Thomas, Joey Aliotta, and Mickey Amboyan each had a hit for Kalamazoo.
Kalamazoo returns to action with a non-conference doubleheader at Rochester College on Wednesday, April 17 at 2 p.m.
