Track and field: MIAA Champion for discus and shot-put (1980; ALL-MIAA (1979, 1980); team MVP 1979, School record in discus (149ft. - 1977). NCAA ALL-American ( 5th place - 1980 );  NCAA Division III discus record (185 ft. 1 in. - 1980); NCAA Discus 7th place at Nationals (1979).

Football: ALL-MIAA offensive line (1978, 1979 ); ALL-MIAA second team offensive line (1977); MIAA Honorable mention (1976). Received "Opie" Davis Award for outstanding senior athlete (1980).
